Ingredients:-
Leeks (thinly sliced) | 4 |
Maldive fish (pounded) | 2 TBS |
Crushed Red Chili | 1 TSP |
Turmeric powder | ½ TSP |
Salt | 1/2 TSP or to taste |
Oil | 3 TBS |
How I made it:-
- Rinse the leeks and slice thinly. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large wok over low heat.
- Add the leeks and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in the ground turmeric and crushed chili with salt.
- Stir for 1 minute.
- Add maldive fish, cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When the leek has reduced in volume uncover and cook until little dry.
- Serve with rice and other curries.
