Radish Stir-Fry

This is a simple and easy to make radish stir-fry which goes well with any vegetarianment. Radish is an excellent vegetable for weight loss Sending this Radish Stir fry recipe to Healthy Diet Event – Fat Free Recipies hosted by me and event by Priya.

Ingredients:-
Radish250g
Onion (Sliced)1
Green chili (Chopped)2
Curry leaves1 Sprig
Mustard seeds1/2 TSP
Urad dhal½  TSP
Turmeric Powder½ TSP
Salt1/4 TSP or to taste
Cooking Oil1 TBS


How I made it:-

  • Wash and grate the radish. Set aside.
  • Slice the onion and chop the green chilies
  • Heat a medium wok and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Splutter the mustard seeds and add urad dhal.
  • Add curry leaves and sliced onion.
  • Saute until onion turns translucent.
  • Add grated radish and stir fry for 1 minute.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt and saute for 5 to 6 minutes or until radish cook through.
  • Serve this stir-fry as a side.
